Siamsa Tíre is an iconoc theatre and arts centre in Tralee town park. It is also Ireland’s first certified Green Theatre. It was built as the home of the National Folk Theatre of Ireland and a vibrant arts centre for Kerry. The National Folk Theatre is Ireland’s only theatre company dedicated to the preservation and development of Irish arts – traditional music, song and dance. This iconic building was designed to replicate a Bronze Age ring fort on the Wild Atlantic Way. It includes a 350 seat theatre, large stage with side stages, Scene Dock, extensive stage lighting, control room and sound desk.
